The Belgaum Incident: What Happened?
Recently, one of our valued customers from Belgaum, Karnataka, had an unfortunate experience. The customer had placed an order for two beautiful Ganesh idols with us, and we shipped them with our Bengaluru logistics partner — a route we’ve successfully used for hundreds of idol deliveries across cities.
The idols safely reached Belgaum, and everything was going smoothly… until unloading at the customer’s home.

Despite our careful packaging, one idol was seriously damaged right in front of the customer, during the unloading process — something that had never happened before.
Our Immediate Response 🚀
We understand the emotions behind welcoming Bappa home. With only 1 day left for Ganesh Chaturthi, time was our biggest challenge.
⚡ In just a day, our dedicated team:
- Prepared a fresh idol matching the customer’s preference
- Coordinated a new vehicle specifically for this single delivery
- Absorbed the additional logistics cost, despite it being a loss on our end
- Offered the customer a full refund, which they kindly declined out of trust in us ❤️

Because transparency matters. Mistakes or accidents can happen in logistics — but how we respond defines who we are.
We’re proud to say we turned a heartbreaking situation into one of trust, love, and commitment. 💪
This story is not just about a damaged idol — it’s about:

There are times, especially during tight deadlines, when such incidents occur due to our limited manpower and resources. In such situations, minor commitments may occasionally go unfulfilled. However, we always try to communicate transparently and request our customers to understand that these lapses are never intentional.
In 2024, we did face a few challenges such as delayed deliveries, incorrect deliveries, and non-deliveries. But as with any growing business, perfection is a journey — and we continue to improve year after year.
Until now, our delivery operations were in the beta testing phase. We’re pleased to share that, starting this year, we have significantly strengthened our systems and processes to ensure smoother, more reliable service going forward.
